July 2, 2026: Molecular Partners AG (SIX/NASDAQ: MOLN) and Orano Med announced first patient dosing in an ongoing U.S. multicenter Phase 1/2a study of MP0712, a DLL3-targeting Radio-DARPin carrying a lead-212 (212Pb) targeted alpha therapy payload, being developed under their strategic partnership. The trial uses a matched-pair approach: patients first undergo imaging/dosimetry with 203Pb-labeled MP0712, then receive up to four doses of 212Pb-labeled MP0712 within an assigned dose-level cohort. Cohort 1 enrollment is complete and repeat dosing is underway; the study includes up to four dose levels. Five U.S. sites are open and recruiting, with additional sites planned to open later in 2026 (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT07278479). The companies expect initial data “within the coming months”/in 2026, with a more comprehensive safety and efficacy dataset anticipated in 2027. The program focuses on DLL3, described as highly expressed in >85% of small cell lung cancer tumors and in other aggressive neuroendocrine tumors, with low expression in healthy tissues.
