June 25, 2026: Kymera Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: KYMR) announced it has completed enrollment in the global BROADEN2 Phase 2b trial of KT-621, an oral STAT6 degrader, for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD), nearly six months ahead of anticipated timelines. As a result, Kymera accelerated its expected BROADEN2 topline data readout by six months to year-end 2026 (from prior guidance of mid-2027). Subject to regulatory discussions, the company plans to initiate Phase 3 trials of KT-621 in AD by mid-2027.
BROADEN2 is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose-ranging study evaluating three doses of KT-621 in ~200 adult and adolescent patients (ages 12–75) over 16 weeks; the primary endpoint is percent change from baseline in EASI at Week 16.
Kymera also noted KT-621 is being evaluated in the ongoing BREADTH Phase 2b trial in moderate to severe eosinophilic asthma, with data expected in late 2027. The company previously disclosed FDA Fast Track designation for KT-621 in both moderate to severe AD and eosinophilic asthma.
